So, how about having the Eve Client run in 3D for the new screens?
Would be nice for Walking In Stations.

And please add support for all the other fads out there, like Ipad support, those rubber band things people wear around their wrists and pogz! (Pogz are still in fashion right?)

1. Buy nvidia 3D glasses and card
2. install nvidia stereo drivers
3. play eve in 3d
4. shake your head in disappointment and sell your stuff on ebay.

A few points...
EVE in 3D is abysmal. Now. I agree. The problem is the UI design. You don't NEED to see anything, AT ALL, to play EVE effectively. All you need is a well configured overview.
I finally got a TrackIR5 for EVE, only to find they disabled the support. But after getting over my disappointment, I realized it wouldn't add anything to the game as it is currently.
However...I saw in the Future Vision video some hope. 3D would greatly improve in-station realism, as well as add depth to character interaction. If they ever realized we want Dust 514 on PC too, without having to spend an additional $600 on an Xbox360, 3D would make Dust absolutely awesome.
Tack on support for TrackIR again, and little nuances like tracking where a character might be looking becomes trivial.
Overall, the problem is these have to be designed into the plan if they are intended to be used at all. 3D, headtracking, voice...all of it can't be viewed as bonus extras that are nice if a user can make work or not. Yes, we're a minority, but we WANT these things. It can be designed in such a way that you don't need these things, but it makes the depth of immersion that much higher if you do.

They demonstrated it at fanfest. It looked nice, but it doesn't really add any depth to the game.
