So have you ever wondered why you are paying 135 million isk for a vagabond or any T2 hac or recon for that matter and not like 90 million.
Hell you might just be one of the many happy NC BFF's flying around and you just can't figure it out. You keep losing those precious ships day after day and paying such a highprice while defending your space.
Well the reason boys and girls is because your higher up BFF Comanders own what's called a Cartel on technetium, a moon mineral found only among the space you have blobbed so hard to protect. Look that way --->
You are starting to figure out now why people are so Hostile @ you and your BFF's. You are not a Free Capsuleer but a dupe, a tool to feed your unforseen commanders greed. Throw down your chains of lag, what are you fighting for? The war machine's wheels will always turn with or without you. Or will it? Freedom of the Soul begins with your 24 hour awox excursion. Go forth and topple like 40 thousand Domino's. |

So the cost of Vagabonds is directly related to the monopoly of Technetium which from what I know, has nothing to do in the creation of Vagabonds.
I always thought that the cost of Vagabonds is directly related to supply and demand but I'm just a silly Valkyrie so what do I know.

If I recall correctly 90 million is the base cost to build a vaga using a -4 me invented bpc. Also, what about morphite and the other components required to make a vagabond and other tech 2 ships.
But then again what would I know, I only invent occators, viators and nemesis class bombers for a living.

Strange. I was under the impression that the recent spike in the cost of advanced ships was due to a shortage in the supply of moon materials due to the outbreak of war in half of nullsec, coupled with the sudden increase in demand when many more capsuleers were suddenly capable of flying them back in December. I do not see how further destabilizing the supply would bring prices down, unless your 'monopoly' theory actually holds water.

Not since money ceased to matter to me. It happens when you have effectively infinite amounts.

Expensive is relative. To a hobo, a rifter is priceless. To an alliance pilot, a mothership is a replaceable asset.

Someone has to push the first domino.

What, manufacturers are selling their products for a decent profit? What an outlandish concept....
If you really want the price of Vagabonds to drop, and I am assuming that is the key thing you are looking for if I have filtered your anti- NC diatribe correctly, then why do you not go into the production market yourself and compete? Or do you simply compete verbally?

Confirming that gigantic NAP coalitions are responsible for all overpriced items in New Eden, also confirming that there is nothing anyone can do about it.

So this post is advocating for an increase in nano-fit ship idiocy? I wasn't aware there was any shortage....

It's like other food companies competing with Quafe. We know they're immoral but there isn't much you can do so you just accept it and eat genetically enhanced cattle that has been stuffed with maize starch.
