You all saw the 'future' vid.
Many posts are here about the first 2:16 min of that vid.
Yet no one seems to have cared about the end.
Let us say for a moment that everything in this vid will one day be in-game.
A pod pilot went into a station and shot(likely killed) another pod pilot.
Let that sink in.......
We will be able to assassinate people.

That planet looked MUCH closer and much better than planets currently do, if you look at them while orbiting the station.
Was the guy in the station? He seemed to be commanding that orbital strike (he pushed the button), which would make him an FC and thus put him in his own ship. Thus, the chick shot him in his own ship (sucky security).

The devs stated that Incarna will start off without the possibility of in-station PvP.

Phew. Good job you're here to tell me what I saw as opposed to me trusting me to know what I saw.
I saw a video that has no basis in reality and given CCP's ability to deliver, never shall, thusly I didn't care what I saw in the video.
Should I now go off some place and worry about ending up looking like Barney from Half life because that was in somebody elses Eve related video? No, I don't think I shall.

I kinda' have to agree with Gavjack Bunk on this one... at least for the next decade, anyway.
If CCP//EVE is still around after that... maybe, just maybe.

I was half-expecting the video to end with the assassin looking up at the screen and saying "oh, there's some sort of war going on? I was just going door-to-door through the station harvesting wallets"

Whats odd is why CCP would include this scene. How many times have they said: "we do not want station PVP."
I suppose if they did implement out of pod killing, it would only be in null and would have some interesting skill point loss mechanic...

Hold Ctrl + Left mouse button + Right mouse button + drag mouse
