I have been playing six years now and have just hit 100 mill points, but I struggle to find anything gripping about the game at the moment, and just seem to be clinging on to walking in stations to keep me paying my subs.... so What keeps Old timers going????????

9 is fail, it should have been 10. As to what 100mil+ sp people do, probably the same things as sub 100mil sp players. Go out and kill stuff, mine stuff or build stuff. While skill points are needed to perform certain tasks or fly certain ships, in EVE the only barrier is your own imagination.

110M now.
Almost haven't played the last year - except training cruise/torp/beam/artillery specs to 5 og other really important stuff. I guess my assets should keep me alive for at least four more years *G*.
Atm - I just stay "alive" because I can.

go out and do silly thing atleast that's what I would do wich is actually a continuation of the crap I do right now like organising failfit roams (every ship in the roam has to be failfit or you can't join) fly out of the box ships (people get scared of 100mn microwarpdrive drakes :P)

Been playing since 03, on and off... And that's just it really.
* Play EvE
* After a while get bored
* Take a break (usually several months, up to a year)
* Play EvE (kick myself for not keeping skills training)
Rinse and repeat...
So I recently came back after a break of about a year and atm I'm really into it again, interesting stuff on the horizon as well.

I think what keeps you going and playing EVE has very little to do with EVE. It's about the Corp your in and the people you play with.
