All over the world we can find player gatherings, small or big, established or new and everywhere the feedback shows how much fun these gatherings are where fellow pilots come together to discuss incredible stories from New Eden or just to have a good time over a beer or two. That said, it has been a month with only 2 "Community Spotlight" dev blogs and not a single post of substance. What are you working on, when, why, how, etc. As evidenced by recent "completed items" input sooner than later is best. [EDIT] removed off topic ranting [/EDIT] Sorry for derailing your post. If you could please poke the other devs into posting I am sure we would all appreciate it. Thanks!

People have been on summer vacations and we've been looking at the ideas we have for the coming months and prioritizing the ones we like best and think we can complete in time. So news of upcoming features will start to emerge as soon as the devs have had time to arrange more of the details. And we'll bring you In Development videos with more info about the future real soon too ;). Ttue there's been little news, but that will change. Oh, and get a ticket to EVE Vegas! It'll be awesome. But everything is so much expensive for my country standards :( The events like these just show how great of a community we have. Who knows we might one day arrange one for the Balkans. Tough i might give a go for the Greece one. Its quite close and so should be lot cheaper.

Honestly, sometimes CCP's "gifts" aren't always all that desirable and their recent track record for delivering awesome content and staying out of the sandbox (enabling great gaming) isn't very good. CCP's customers are justified in asking for more customer-centric deliverables. Was a lot of fun, and last year, being the new player, I got to meet a lot of people who were willing to explain stuff to me if I didn't understand something; so the experience overall was just awesome!
