They only log on these characters when they gank, so if you have been ganked by this crew in kestrels make sure to petition them for harassment so the GM's keep track of their activities.

Well, I took my old procurer and set it in Eletta and along they came. They blew it up. So one more security hit on Reborn 006 and Barnie.
They had all 6 of em on tonight. I think they wanted to pod me but I had my autopilot setup with a destination so I got out the second my ship blew.

What Vernn is referring to is a pack of characters which are made simply to attack and blow up mining barges mining high sec ice fields. They log on as a pack , all fly out and hit a barge then leave.
He has been noticing that once a character gets a low enough sec rating , the character is deleted and a new one is created. According to a previous post , this is an exploit (creating new characters on an account in order to do that over and over after deleting the one with a low sec rating) but a GM needs proof that it is being done.
If all those who lose barges to this pack the GM's will get more evidense and it can be stopped. Hitting barges is NOT an exploit , deleting a char which has gotten a low sec rating and making a new one IS.

Wow, how can this be accomplished? CCP would have to get directly involved and monitor everyone's account constantly. How could anyone be sure someone is an alt being created for this specific reason?
Does this happen to people mining with other ships or just barges? I think making the barges better able to withstand attack until Concord arrives would be the best fix. These are very expensive ships to be made so vulnerable in the first place. Seems to be a gankers wet dream. |

The alts doing the ganking are actually alts of experienced afk-miners who are doing the ganking in order to force CCP to give mining barges more HP to make them more durable in lower sec. systems.
Either that or they're alts of pirates whose OTHER alts are setup as miners and they also want the mining barge HP's increased for their own benefit.
Later, I'll show how Elvis was killed by a mining barge.

Actually this guy is trying to get them banned by making them have to recycle their alts more frequently. If he can get them to do this enough it will give the GMs grounds for a ban. Please read his other thread in the link he provided or STFU.

Its a simple matter for the GM to check the account information and determine if they've been recycling alts and what their security status was when they did it.
If they're doing it ban them. Simple.
