That's what the disappearance of the learning skills left my char with (along with horrible mental scarring which will NEVER go away :P ) So this is my horribly mutilated skill list Since I wanted this girl to be an explorer/plexer and a small gang pvp-er when I want to pretend I'm not a raging carebear, I plan on filling up the last of the essential shield tanking and missile skills, and then train for t2 medium projectiles and the supporting skills. Then maybe up to amarr cruisers and relevant laser weapon skills.
However, due to my predisposition of selecting what skills to train while drunk, you have the horror presented above. According to my computations, 1.7 mil sps will *almost* fill up a 5x level 5 skill. What do you think would be the most appropriate choice for this investment?

Rank 5 skills needs 1 280 000 SPs to max out from 0, so that's little better than 'almost'. It's closer to rank 8 skill trained level 4 --> level 5

You have few options: - You could spend them on thing that you want now. Or you could spend them on thing that you know is important, but it's very far on the list. - You could spend them on slowest things. That way you'll save most time. - Or you could keep them. Sometime in future CCP will introduce new stuff, thanks to those SPs, you could fly on day 1. Or you could want to join corp, that have some strict skill requirements. Then those SPs could be handy.

Invest in support int/mem skills whatever you need at the moment. Leave per/will skills for training.
E.g. caldari defensive sub 5, astrometric rangefinding 5, shield rigging 4, hull upgrades 5, drone interfacing 4.

Hmm, it might be a good idea to invest in some armor skills while I'm at it. Drones are also a good idea, I could cap drone interfacing, which would be a boost for small gang warfare(they're not really important for my day-to-day carebearing because of *Tengu*).
Thank you.

So, A couple things.
Your skills aren't really horribly mutilated. You have some nice skills at 5 and your still pretty young at 18 mil SP.
As for switching races...again... I recommend you pick guns or missiles, shield or armor, and get focused on one path for awhile. Otherwise, your going to have a 2 year old toon that has minimal DPS in everything he flies.
If you really like the Tengu, get those missile supports to V. Train the short parts, and apply SP to the long parts.
On one of my toons I applied *Half Points* to a bunch of rank 5 skills. Effectively turning them from a 20 day train, into a 10 day train. Just an option .

I usually spend a portion of my spare sp on training the end of a skill that took like 13 days at non-optimal attributes, giving it the last 50k or so cause i'm tired of seeing it on EVEmon and aura.

Why thank you. It's just that I never really trained them after a plan until about a few months ago. After some consideration I think I'll sink those points in armor, after i'm done with missile and gun skills. The plan now is to round up any rough edges along my carebearing(1 shield skill and 2 missile skills) life and then proceed to some real pvp skill training(guns and support). The points going into armor will help this toon to better fit a hurricane(or munnin) so I can finally join a roam and not be laughed at.
