As a young man i was lured in to the clutches of the Caldari Navy and misslead to believe that i fought for something just and true. I have committed horrendeus crimes in the name of the Caldari and now i stand before you a regretfull man.
I have during the last few days moved all of my personal belongings to Minmatar/Gallentean space and it is my intention to fight for their cause in the future. It is my sincere hope that i can by supporting a just and true cause in some way repay for the horrendeus crimes i have committed. I will not say that i acted under orders nor will i claim that i am innocent. I was simply misslead to believe i fought for a just cause.
Forgive me proud members of the Minmatar, have pity on me and guide me to salvation Gallenteans.
Thank you for your time, now i must start on my road too salvation. |

I hope this is a joke. In your entire career you only managed to die at the hands of your enemies...once. No attacks on other capsuleers? Your pathetic and you have done nothing for the state.
You best hope that we do not cross paths, it will not end well for you. -------------------------------------------------

Edited by: Aiwha on 02/04/2011 04:35:19 Yeah, one kestrel loosing to a Federation coercer isn't exactly a human rights violation. Well, except for the kestrel maybe. Dessies tend to dish out frigate ****...

Actions speak louder than words, especially when confronted with a past you may be less than proud of... something I know a good deal about.
Best of luck.

Seems like the prevailing ideology in this thread is that only the lives of capsuleeers matter, and the lives of others are meaningless. I think that Kyoto Cebolla has every right to feel bad over the deaths that he has caused capsuleers or not...
Though, looking at the date on his message I can't help but feel he is less then sincere. Though, I could be wrong about that and if so I apologize.

It's seem you've forgotten that both the Gallenteans and Minmatar have equally caused as much devastation and opressions than the Caldari will ever do, not only did the gallenteans idea of "democracy" have them deny our people the freedom we deserved but also declare war on us when we did so.
The Minmatar however started an entire war that killed billions just to save a people that was under no harm, they to are murderers. I assure you, what ever you were ordered to do, you were ordered to do it for the safety of our people.

As you say it seems that the lifes of capsuleers is what counts in our world. I have not been part of the great battles, i have taken part in a smaller but yet more devious battle fought in the dark. My victims were innocent mortal civilians, not immortal capsuleers.
The date of my message is unfortunate, and i assure you that i am sincere.
Karl Planck, i would hope that i can meet you sometime so that i can show you first hand how i plan to repay my debt to the people i have wronged

I still fail to understand how you can omit crimes that you are going to commit under the gallente/minmatar flag than under the caldari flag. |

I would put this as a fair concern as well. In essence, what makes the Gallente or Minmatar causes, worth slaughtering innocents for? I am not so dogmatic to say that it isn't justified, to kill innocent people in the name of a cause, as while my heart bleeds for those I have killed, I firmly believe that the end will justify the means. The problem I see, is what ends are they working toward?
Only one group, has the will and the power to truly bring about peace and unity. I do my best to support them.

If you seek salvation, you should befriend the Amarrian priests, and if you look for something that resembles to a just and true cause, join the Sisters Of Eve.

cut out the part about the amarrians, and you'll find a truely just cause.
and war is not about glory, its about killing people who get in your way. you will find injustice in the gallenteans and the minmatar fleets, just as bad as those you saw with the caldari.
the whole factional warfare scene is not about justice and who's right, it never was. when states collide, they don't do it for ideals. they do it because the other group has something they want.
all four factions torture, all four factions inflict civilian casualties, all four factions are inherently corrupt. quit whining about justice and shoot something.

You know, I've never met a born-and-raised Caldari who could stay away for long.
Maybe it's in our genes, but we get homesick easily. You're a traitor for now, Kyoto-jaalan, but you'll be back the moment you realise that wherever you go, NOWHERE will quite live up to your expectations. You want somewhere "just and true"? There is no such place, and if you think there is then you're either a fool, or indoctrinated.
You've been raised to view the State with rose-tinted goggles. Now they're gone and you've realised that the State has its ugly side, and you're overreacting. So by all means, go abroad, rail against that to which you were once loyal. You have the luxury of a capsuleer's near-immunity to consequence and when you realise, as I did, that your heart and mind belong here?
You'll be back, and the State will welcome you. You see, such experience is valuable. By becoming familiar with how the rest of New Eden lives, we gain perspective on our own way of life. My experiences living in the Federation and working for Federal corporations, of time spent in nullsec in alliances run by Amarrians, Matari and Gallenteans, all drove the point home to me that whatever else the State may be, it is Home. It is our country, right and wrong both, and our duty - our heiian - compels us to hold it to the highest standard.
You'll be back. Just don't be so dramatic about it when you do. Come back quieter, wiser, and determined to make what change you can to improve our State for all Caldari.

You will not find salvation nor peace with the Federation, brother. Their sycophantic and decadent ways do nothing but rob you of you worth and self respect. Look at what they do to my people and tell me this is less criminal than what you may have done in the navy. I have no love for the Caldari state, but I respect any man who will fight and humiliate those who are loyal to the Gallente Federation. Have no pity because they ruin all that is good in life and death alike.
What good is the law if it is corrupt and dehumanising? You have only yourself out there, set an example by exemplifying better laws, turn the curse of immortality against them. |

You ask for forgiveness from these filthy dogs? Have you learned nothing from the state? All these "Barbarians" want is their own personal gain and will go to nothing to get this. Listen, Gallente are only their for their own worldly pleasures. Minmatare are her because they think they are doing what is right through their wrongfulness. A wrong does not equal a right in the end mate, is only comes out as being deeper in the crap-hole. My advice do some studying of Gods word and come back with a clearer mindset.

You'll find devils and saints wherever you go. I fight now for the glory of God and his chosen people, but am not for one moment naive enough to believe there aren't evils in abundance in Holy Amarr. You need to find a purpose and hold to that. Perhaps you may even sleep easily. "I retrofitted my ships to fire produce. It's all the rage." |

Well, pretending to be a war criminal could be considered roleplaying. Not sure why somebody would WANT to pretend to be such though...

Another squid running away. Typical.
Let's say you do cross over to our side, what then? When you realize the Federation and Republic both have their ugly side, will you run to the Amarr so they can make you feel even more guilty and ashamed of yourself for really nothing at all? Only this time it will be the putrid stench of their religion permeating your conscience, not just whatever perceived injustice you've inflicted upon others.
You are a demigod. Start acting like one.
By the way, welcome to the Federation! We torture, maim, and kill people just like everyone else...we just don't hide behind fascist slogans and religion when we're doing it. We believe in equality for each and every person, and each and every person can also die equally if need be.
