Having 2 separate contract search windows is great. I can use old one to list particular region contracts, and If i find something interesting I can click "find in contracts" on it to compare global prices. This will be impossible when 1.4 removes old search :(
CCP created something good (above scenario) by accident, but sadly they are about to "fix it" :(

I agree that having both has been great, I'll be sad to see the old one retired.
+1 for tabs AND favourite searches.
I'm also a big fan of the 'find in contracts' feature, though I'd just like to see it default to current station (or at least remember what was selected previously) rather than all regions.

Yeah, I've been using both.
Either keep both, or give us tabs so we can do multisearch.
Also, it would be great if doing the "search for item in contracts" didn't reset the range and type of search. It should just enter the name into the search bar and not change anything else.

Agreed. Stumbled on this little gem just yesterday. Having multipleee search functions (tabs) was quite handy.

There's a new search for contracts? I must've missed it? when did they add that back? last time I checked they removed it because it was bugged.

Same wave length also note the huge problem about new scams that are going to emerge within new system. Only really effects traders and frequent users of system but worth a look to make sure u don't get caught out.

Just spotted another major issue, scamming is going to increase a metric frack ton. The new system does not display [WTB] orders with multiple items with a [X2, X4 , X9999] like the old system.
Ie. A Want to buy plex order with value 364 Million isk could be asking for 10 plex without having the X[Number like old system. Of course opening the contract will show this, you will just have to take much longer using new system than old.
Only market traders are really going to get caught out here as they will be used to the old or tandem systems workings and customers usally give contracts a good check where as market traders do look but have to look at contracts a 1000 times.

Yes it was, The new system would be good if could be opened in at least two tabs and clicking on sort items opened in a new tab instead of mucking up the current search parameters.
The problem with beta was that people were still using old system in tandem with it. Beta is really not going to be able to stand alone unless multiple tabs are offered.
