Hi there,
I hope some of you can help me with some advice.
I am an old vet who has returned to Eve after a 3-4 year sabbatical.
Due to some friends returning or starting on Eve I decided to give it another go and so far itÆs been fun again so for now IÆm sticking around.
My character is a Minmatar and I have always tried to be able to fly and fight in just about any Minni ship there is.
Due to this I have about 43mil skill points in mostly combat and ship skills.
Now that I have returned to Eve IÆm doing some lvl 4 missions to pass the time and get my wallet back up to good levels.
So far IÆm doing this in a T2 fitted Maelstrom and itÆs going ok.
However I keep feeling IÆm not efficient and I can do much better.
I have updated some of the new skills but I am still unfamiliar with the new ships (of the last 3 years)
So now IÆm looking for the ultimate Minmatar lvl 4 mission ship.
IÆve been looking at the Loki and the Vargur, but IÆm not convinced itÆs much of an upgrade for the money.
Please note that I donÆt salvage and donÆt even always loot, so a good tank with high dps is what is important.
Any advice on what ship I should take would be highly appreciated!

The mach is definately in the top 3 mission running ships, but you'll need to train gallente battleship up to at least 3 to really use one to good potential.
I have both a mach and a loki and i like them both.
For larger missions, with a lot of battleships, the mach cant be beat.
Shorter missions with alot of Cruisers/destroyers/frigs however,the loki pulls ahead.
The loki also has an amazing cap stable tank that you can almost afk in.

vargur is cheaper than mach and has nearly similar performance, but yeah mach.

forget missions. go find some bears that throw way to much isk in their boats.
use those 1400mm artys the way they're meant to be used.
you can't do this solo. get some help.
