Hi there
I am new to trading and have done a couple of runs so far, but i have been thought about some things.
1) Are there any tools to calculate how many jumps there is from one system to another (im in system 1 and i want to know how far the distance is from system 2 and 3)
2) Are there any tools that i can use to check prices in other regions?
/Thanks

It's no problem. I never reply unless I have something helpful to say.

You can do it with autopilot, actually, just set 2 waypoints and count the systems between em.
That being said, your looking for eve-central

1) You can use dotlan for that out of game. 2) Look up either eve-central or eve-marketdata for price checks. Or you could create an alt and park it in a different region to get a better idea since eve-central and eve-marketdata don't always have the most recent prices.

Using alts parked in regions is the the best way to check prices in other regions. Give the wee alts a little shuttle and park them at the border areas. Then, with a jump or three, bounce between a few regions. This will give you the most up-to-date prices possible.
The third-party trade finders are helpful at guiding you to items that may have the best prices, so you can narrow your market search down. But the prices listed are usually too old to be helpful. So, you can use your alts to confirm prices in a region to ensure the trip is profitable.
