Hello there all
I've had my copy of eve for about 14 or 18 days
now.
I've noticed something missing from the stations options.
In the manuel for EVE-online it state that in the station there should be a news button. this is meant to allow you to "catch up on the latest posts in the nearby solar system." and that "Serveral news channels cover events in the region. Anyone can post to the news channel and reply to any post.
now this is meant to be an option on space stations, i've never seen it, has anybody else?
It would be great to know whats going on in eve, without having to use the local chat channels. where there is a mass of posts and you can't see any post prior to your jumping to that system.
Is it just me or am i going mad

this feature was in beta, but it was like an online forum. whould be good to have it come back, or a better version of it, would also be nice the game news avaible there too, and in game event/news.

i agree, along with advertising space u had to pay for...
maybe CCP could do a weekly / monthly "newsletter" to help grow the fiction, and interspersed through it are advert features that players have payed for in isk.

You could always read the Gallente Enquirer

A player run in-game-browser compatable e-magazine, with fiction , interviews and space to advertise as well - what more could you want....

I liked what they had in Beta. Could work really well, not sure if theres plans to bring it back or something similar? The Eve universe lacks a good global communication media at the moment.

Is there a place on these forums to ask CCP about placing this very useful and important of the game back into the current release?
