One thing.. if server is shut down for maintenance between 11 and 12... dont let server still be closed at 12.30, like it was today. Often the set time from staff doesn get hold, thats making some ppl irritaded..But..game is really good..=-)

Maybe they have reasons for the extra dowmtime? Things don't always work out the best way intended.
So give them a chance :) (And hope that our characters still exists when we log back online :) --- Director of Ni --- Your mother was a hamster and your father smelled of elderberries!

Extended downtime 1st July 10:00-13:30 GMT We had to extend the downtime more than anticipated. This was in part because more time was spent on taking backups of all persistent data, both to eliminate all chance of data loss during the database maintenance and in preparation to move a new backup to the Test server as part of patch preparations.

Take it easy. Just take the time to go out and do some other things in life that you aren't able to do because of EVE =) ___________________________________

Tyran, did you really need to start two threads on same subject. How would you feel if they brought the servers online and it crashed cause they overlooked something and was down for hours after. I think you need to calm down and realize that there is life outside of EvE.
I do believe we can lock this thread. *click*jiggle jiggle damn doesn't this thing work. (hehehe) Trips "Plug in, sit down, freak out!" |

Mr Saurus, if yer life is so empty that yoo need to whinge so much about down time, then maybe its time for yoo to get a real life.
Having played many Online games over the years, I have come to look upon Downtime as a minor niggle (I cut my teeth on Everquest) 8).
When it happens I go out into the garden, go for a drive, visit friends, play with the bairns, read a book (whithout pictures), hell I even talk to my wife 8)
But then I am retired now and have learned a very important lesson in life 'Patience is a virtue' and that 'a rushed job is botched job'
So smile and be happy that you have a game to play at all and lots of free time to play it.
This post is for information only - 8)
