I for one will be keeping my skin pure. ~~~

Whilst you didn't mention scars in your OP, you also didn't mention tattoos Taking both of these points in to consideration, it is easy to see why someone would assume you were talking about the scar, rather than the tattoo. Not too bright are you?

I had forgotten about that one myself. lol. just look it up on google and most folks would give good reason to forget that they ever saw it, by far the most painful looking things I've ever seen (and disgusting before they've healed)....

Of course people IRL do all kinds of body modification / whatever in real life but I was meant to be talking about tats. Now I will edit my op and try to revalidate my counter smack regardless the tattoos just look dumb. ~~~
