Edited by: Vantoth on 07/04/2011 03:57:16 I have reported this as a bug, but I fgured I would warn you folks too. It seems the new Strip fittings option they just added has a bug. I open my Ships menu and right clicked on one of my Catalysts, I selected the "Strip Fittings" option from the drop down menu, and clicked it. I then got a small pop up box that asked me if I wanted to remove these fittings. I clicked the "yes" option. At first it seemed nothign happened.
So I made it an active ship and then opened the "Fitting" menu, and all of the fittings were actually gone from the ship as well as the ammo. But they were nowhere to be found in my inventory. The fittings never showed up in my "Items" in none of my containers. Those items have vanashed. I guess the removal crew took them home with them.

I'm sorry that I find this extremely amusing but it's just so typical of CCP's ability to introduce features only to also add random complete failures
Hopefully it's just an inventory issue similar to previous ones and they will show up after downtime...
... They didn't end up in the ship's cargo did they? ~~~

In the cargohold perhaps? Haven't played with it yet so I can't test it out.

Hello,
Thank you for the bug report. Could you please also file a petition so the GMs can investigate and get you your items back?

Hello,
Thank you for the 700mb of burns and tattoos. Could you please consider bug testing your releases so the players can not die to POS aggro, failed aggro mechanics, scrambler failures and other surprise 'features'. ~~~

That's called 'stealth buff to the items sink'. Make people buy expensive stuff and fit their ships with it and when they want to refit, voila, everything gone.

Nope, I had checked there and the cargo bays of every ship I own "just in case" and had seen the ammo was gone and nothing else was in the ships cargo bay. I then went through every can I have in station again just to be sure and they were not there either.

Another bug for the 'strip fittings' option. Waiting for my ship to enter - before switching ships. So I 'click strip fitting'. When I go into the fitting screen - all items are gone - but the CPU and powergrid haven't been reset.....
I'm a noob - but I can't say I'm very impressed so far!
