Jerec Deepblue	Posted - 2005.02.06 15:33:00 - [1] Hi, it sounds like you already know it's your PC. Random reboots reminds me of a virus I had once. Trojans can do funny things, too. Spyware perhaps? You'll have to spend some time figuring out what is wrong with your pc. cmd run dxdiag is one of the things the EVE folks had me do. I thought all my drivers were 100% uptodated and yet I found by doing dxdiag that my sound drivers were old. Also, defrag, devirus, clean your registry, remove all old programs, and all the many other things you need to do to your system, and THEN you can blame EVE if it still doesn't work ;P Sorry, good luck. By now, if i am lucky, I usually manage to login within those 10-20 attempts. If i CTD during gameplay or decide to exit and load another character etc, it usually only takes about 5-10 attempts. I never once had this problem during Castor, it started with Exodus and has grown worse over time. Right now i just had to stop try to login after over an hour of trying to because I had to go. I have tried all possible patches and full build combos imaginable. I suspect it is a hardware issue with my computer because it has shown odd behaviour lately with random reboots during boot and such. AMD 1700+ GeForce 3 Ti 200 with Nvidia 6.14.10.5303 (gfx is most common issue?) SB Live 5.1 soundcard DirectX 9.0c WinXP with sp2 Taking a minimum of 30 minutes to login is giving me a high blood pressure and my gf a hard time conversating with me in a polite manner :P I'm considering quitting Eve by now, please help me.
