I am searching for active low sec systems where i could go and have some pirating fun. What are the well known ones?
Also, since i am a new player, can anyone tell me how to find less known systems that are good for piracy?

Look at eve maps...look at the systems with the most ships/pods killed...I'll save you some time, its going to be Tama/Auga area, Cal/Gal FW and Amar/Minnie FW space...come to Enaluri I'm sure one of us will shoot at you :)

Looking around belts for a fight takes really long time. Should I train my probing skills to find more targets?

You want a good 1v1, take a frig to Hagilur and look for a guy named Rikki ******o, he <3s 1v1s. edit: apparantly a certain R word is filtered
Tama is also not a bad place to find solo pirates.
Rancer and Amamake are more likely to just get you ganked on the gate by a camp.
Auga, Huola and Old Man Star are also good places to find fights (and learning to avoid getting blobbed)
