It has come to my attention that the Market search system while effective in Region it fails if a system 1 jump away is in a different region. Therefore I humply petition to increase the Search radius upto 4 Regions in the market search function. Thereby increasing overall market activity.
I am aware that there is a Price_Check chat window however it only works if the players in said room pay attention or enough of them are in different regions to make a difference.

It's a regional market, not a universal market. Just jump over to the next region to view the market there.

Supported. Market should be the same as contracts. Viewable for all regions.

i wouldn't say 4 regions i would go every system within X jumps
that makes more sense

You certainly don't have to use cross-regional view, same as for contracts. But the option should be available. There should be no need for external sites like Eve-Central to provide this highly desired and much used function that should have been in game to begin with.

the reason you can only see the region you're in is because it limits lag. imagine loading all the orders from the entire universe.
instead, why not have a mode that checks other region's markets, but requires you to be in a comms hub to do so?

That's a baseless assumption. It's not "orders from the entire universe," just orders for one item. And the number of server calls are the same (1) regardless of how many orders are displayed. Some extra entries in that call hardly adds much to bandwidth. There is no reason for it to be more taxing than any number of mundane actions.

jitanomics only does the hisec orders. imagine the huge amounts from nullsec areas that you don't want to buy from. if not for lag, then for convinience, why would you want to be able to look at the entire universe's market?
