This is a problem for most players that I've met in EVE. While we enjoy the EVE experience, our loved ones suffer greatly.
I would like to know if anyone has started a support group to help them cope with our addictions? Maybe CCP can start an official "EVE Loved Ones Support Group". They can meet and talk about stuff that we can't be bothered with while transporting a valuable BP back to base in a shuttle with the shields down.

I am still dreaming of being a boss of a company with 666 paid professional players at my command. 24/7, 222 always on. This would solve the loved ones problem also.

Here's what you need to do:
1. Take out all loans / mortagages /credit card raised limits that you can
2. Quit your job
3. End your relationship, say good bye to your friends
4. rent a cheap room, get a broadband connection installed. Don't tell anyone where you have gone.
5. Play Eve 23/7 until your money runs out.
6. Die. (You'll be about 9/10ths of the way there once you finish stage 5 anyway.)

You could always just get up from the computer from time to time and do stuff with them.
Works for me.
