Dunno... but there was a sizeable node crash last night... maybe they are dealing with the "aftershocks" on that.

i dont think it was a node crash....... i think ccp's isp had a crash

anyone get a note about curtailed downtime the other day.
eve was up early yet again!
(Seriously, funny how people never post when it goes up after 20 minutes instead of 30, but are rabid when it's 5 minutes late...)

Complaining about having to wait over 30 mins for server to come back? Crap, shouda been around when it was an hr long. Kids today whine about the littlest of things.

Routing issue? I can tracert the server no problem, the login screen says its down. Even eve-offline says its still down.... |

I think the point is..if you offer a service that will be down for 30 minutes but is up after only 20...then all is good with the world. However if after 30minutes it continues to stay down without any information..one might consider that poor service.

It happens from time to time, seeing that I'm on Tokyo time its usually 2000 local time when its 1100 GMT. This is my prime time and I notice it happening but not as often as the extended down times.

It's not poor service, so it might take a bit longer so what. Would you prefer it went back to an hour so that if it was 45 minutes you could then make a thread praising how wonderful they are for getting the server back up early.

I am not upset about the 30 minute or 1 hour downtime or what ever they have it at but the constant extended downtimes cause of half assed patching is getting repetitive
