First off sorry if this isn't the right are to post this.
I have been having issues with my wallet blinking randomly for almost a year, and I have never really been able to find a way to fix it. I am just wondering if anyone has any suggestions or help. (I've seen people say that it could be from your corp wallet, but I do not have the ability to view my corp wallet, there is no corp tab for me in my wallet.)

I guess I should mention I would like my wallet to function like a normal wallet, without the bug. I don't have the issue with any of my other chars.
I really don't want blink OFF, I would rather it just work correctly.

You don't have activity on either the "Journal" or "Transactions" when the wallet blinks? Do you have corp roles like Accountant, Trader, etc? Akimoto 400Ö Indices: Are you a Market Wizard or will you get taken for a ride? |

Correct, no change in either. I have 0 roles, just join my corp, and it happened the same in a diff corp / alliance and in the npc corp.

Edited by: Moto Akimoto on 15/04/2011 04:00:50 Sounds like you should fill out a bug report. As far as I know, the wallet only blinks with changes related to balances, bills, shares, transactions, and orders.
Sorry that I couldn't help you.
Edit: also what Elise said Akimoto 400Ö Indices: Are you a Market Wizard or will you get taken for a ride? |

Edited by: Hildebeast on 15/04/2011 04:21:12 That's how it's supposed to work anyway, yes. I was just asking because I have had the issue for almost a year, and I've seen others with the problem, I just figured it would be fixed by now.
Also, to Elise, I am working on turning just 1 type of blinking off, too see if I can figure out where the issue is coming from (might be from the all, or just 1, idk.)

You cannot have a second main, you have 1 main and the rest are alts Also: confirming my wallet blinks all the time

I would argue this, saying 'main' would imply that it is your main character ie the one who gets most time in game etc. However, myself i have 4 mains, given they all play similar times. (or 4 alts if you want to view it that way)
an Alt is alternative character, where as all 4 of my character are not alternatives but all play the same sort of volume of time :) just this character is my 'public face'

cause you can have a second main!
I have 2 chars that i created myself both with over 100mil sp, both having unique roles! I have several alts i use for managment, orders, cynos and other odd jobs.. those are alts, my 2 mains are both in use whenever i am on eve! thus second main :P

I had this problem too, then I realized I had forgotten about a sell order of 40 million "antimatter charge s" that I had put up in a null-sec station 15 months ago. The blinking was the occasional buyer. Drove me nuts.

I have this problem too on one of my alts that I occasionally use for scouting. The only thing I can think of that might be the issue is that the alt is in possession of a bunch of corporate shares of a now-closed corporation. Highly annoying, but I don't spend much time with the alt in game, so it's at least bearable. -- Paradox -- |

I had this bug for a while, but I found a way to fix it (for me anyway). It seemed to be related to corp wallet activity on your current wallet division, whether you had access to it or not.
It happens if you are in a corp and have roles to access the corp wallet, and you set a default division (say it's the master wallet). If you then join another corp, every time there's activity on the master wallet, yours will blink even though you can't see anything. The way I fixed it was to have a director give me access to an unused division that I then set as my default.

I think it also may apply to corps you used to be in also, in a noob corp atm and it still happens, but the char has been ceo of several corps previously.

Interesting seeing as how orders are limited to 3 month durations. Even if you kept updating it to extend the time that would mean you didn't forget about it.
