I can think of a lot of ships that I'd see as more of a priority. But hey it is certainly badass looking, I like it.

I can`t handle the awesomeness of AT9 cruiser texture so you have to wait for devblog to see it. This is standard Maller and blood raider npc alternative (i`m lacking skills to do other amarr alternatives). For the ugly preview this is more than enough.

(Yes I know the Thorax is Gal's tier 4 but Vexor is better and should be the Tier 4 ) Full rack of Drones would let it be useful for something besides a bait ship or frig killer. Ie.. could use Med guns with out fear of being solo'd by a Rifter.. MOA for that matter could also use a full rack of lights as well.

Well the reason they went for the Scorpion first was that throughout the history of Eve, it has become a fairly iconic ship in many ways. Not to mention that it pioneered electronic warfare in the game. Or at least that's how they explained it in the dev blog when the model change was first announced.
