Have you considered low sec piracy? My corp, Black Sail Anarchists, is recruiting. We are laid back and understand that real life comes first. We are active but do not have mandatory ops. Play as you like as long as you are killing people.

EDF is a pure pvp corp with lots of action right now! Madhatter, I will send you a bit more information in an in-game message, but i can promise you the best home for you is in the Clean Up Crew. I really don't need to advertise ourselves much, because once you come chill and chat with us, you'll see we are a very tight and good group of pvpers, but definitely don't take ourselves too seriously: especially understanding that real life anything comes way before pixel space ships. We already have a very strong and tight group that have come from literally all aspects of EVE, and are literally growing by the dozens every week because of our reputation as well as good nartured attitudes :)

Hey MadHatter, you considered giving piracy a shot?
The Tuskers are recruiting. We're a low sec pirate corporation based in Verge Vendor (Gallente low sec) although we do have campaigns to other areas (we had one to Caldari low sec a while ago).
Here's what we offer specifically compared to other pirate corporations:
- Established, mature community. We've been around for at least two years, doing what we do best - low sec piracy. We have no plans whatsoever to change this and if any member (including CEO/directors) feel that low sec piracy is not for them, they leave rather than try to alter the corporation's direction.
- Activity. Unlike other pirate corporations, we are heavily active. We're ranked #2 on Battleclinic for Corporations (using recent kills) and #9 if you use lifetime kills. In order to verify this and see how active we are in the US timezone (we helped kill 3 Carriers and 2 Dreads self destructed the other day in prime US timezone ) check our killboard here.
- Logistical support. We offer regular freighter runs in order to help you move your ships so you can spend more time pew-pewing.
- In-corporation market. We have members who sell ships exclusively in corporation for slightly above Jita price right in our HQ. Examples include (all fully fitted w/ ammo etc.) - AC Shield Hurricanes, Rifters, HML Drakes.
- Frequent informal roams. Our members aren't content to sit on a stargate for hours waiting for ships to kill, we are pro-active in terms of hunting.
- No blues. Whilst other pirate corporations may have blues, we have none except for people who pay us and our alts.
- No POS warfare. Similar to gatecamping, we get antsy if we stay in one place for too long!
- We understand RL comes first and therefore we have no mandatory Ops, we just require you to log in once in a while and if that's not possible, for you to tell us that you won't be able to log in for X months.

We're made up of mostly family men and women and so recognise the need for balance in this game. It's one of the reasons we're where we are. It provides us PvP at any time of the day, every day of the week so just because you can't play on one or two particular days doesn't mean you miss out on all the fun.
