My main goal is blitzing missions for corp. and faction standings in low and null-sec. Generally this means doing lots of L3 missions, but the easier L4 missions would be nice to do as well.
Never flown a T3, nor do I have much experience in low and null-sec yet, so I am hoping for some constructive feedback on the fits below. And yes I am going to practice travelling about in low/null-sec in cheaper ships first
I am trying to keep costs down a bit, so not using the most expensive mods, but don't want to gimp the tank and DPS too much either.
The basic idea is to be unprobable while keeping enough gank and tank to blitz all level 3 missions. I only need som low-grade Jackal implants to achieve the unprobable part; 2 implants to be practically unprobeable and 3 for 100% unprobeable.
First fit is for getting to wherever I am going without dying. The fit features stealth and the interdiction nullifier:
Quote: [Loki, L3 Low/Null-sec: Getting there] LADAR Backup Array II Tracking Enhancer II Tracking Enhancer II Republic Fleet Gyrostabilizer Republic Fleet Gyrostabilizer
ECCM - Ladar II Y-S8 Hydrocarbon I Afterburners Caldari Navy Invulnerability Field Caldari Navy Shield Boost Amplifier Pithum B-Type Medium Shield Booster
425mm AutoCannon II, Barrage M 425mm AutoCannon II, Barrage M 425mm AutoCannon II, Barrage M 425mm AutoCannon II, Barrage M Covert Ops Cloaking Device II
Medium Projectile Collision Accelerator II Medium Anti-Kinetic Screen Reinforcer I Medium Low Friction Nozzle Joints I
Loki Offensive - Covert Reconfiguration Loki Defensive - Amplification Node Loki Electronics - Dissolution Sequencer Loki Engineering - Capacitor Regeneration Matrix Loki Propulsion - Interdiction Nullifier
Once I am there, and if I feel somewhat safe (made a deal with the locals for example), I can switch to a higher DPS setup. Basically I am losing the stealth and interdiction nullifier but staying unprobable. I'll obviously have to carry the subsystems with me, but I am not there for the loot anyway:
Quote: [Loki, L3 Low/Null-sec: Running the missions] LADAR Backup Array II Tracking Enhancer II Tracking Enhancer II Republic Fleet Gyrostabilizer Republic Fleet Gyrostabilizer Republic Fleet Gyrostabilizer
ECCM - Ladar II Y-S8 Hydrocarbon I Afterburners Caldari Navy Invulnerability Field Caldari Navy Shield Boost Amplifier Pithum B-Type Medium Shield Booster
425mm AutoCannon II, Barrage M 425mm AutoCannon II, Barrage M 425mm AutoCannon II, Barrage M 425mm AutoCannon II, Barrage M 425mm AutoCannon II, Barrage M
Medium Projectile Collision Accelerator II Medium Anti-Kinetic Screen Reinforcer I Medium Low Friction Nozzle Joints I
Loki Offensive - Turret Concurrence Registry Loki Defensive - Amplification Node Loki Electronics - Dissolution Sequencer Loki Engineering - Capacitor Regeneration Matrix Loki Propulsion - Fuel Catalyst
Or any combination of the fits/subsystems depending on the locals in the system. Probably gonna bring some 650mm artillery II with me as well.
So is this doable? Crazy? Stupid? Both? Tweaks and ideas welcome.

It's doable. It wouldn't go as far as to it's stupid or crazy, but you are going to have difficulty in missions without any drones (covert and arty sub lack a dronebay), especially some of the L3s that are chock-full of frigs. With a bonused afterburner, it's not so much as a concern until you are webbed though.
That being said, I had a relative few number of bad experiences and perhaps tracking implants would help in that regard, I haven't tried pushing the envelope.

Get a shiney AB tbh, if you have money to drop on a CN invul field then you have money to get something better than a named AB. There are two sides to the EVE community; those that scream for change and those that scream against it. Often they are the same person. |

Too be unprobable you dont want the shield route....(You can but armor is easier to do) Also if not drone bay use the web sub to slow the frigs down and pop em You can fit 2 on there with a scram and an ab in many configs or if shield tanking just use one and drop the scram.
I wouldnt use an interdiction nullifier with covops on there at the same time....a warp stab to a low in most cases could provide the same.... Depends on how active your low and null sec systems are I suppose.

Pithum B-types don't exist. Yet.

In nullsec I would definately use an Interdiction Nullifier. It means you can jump from gate to gate, never even bothering if there is a bubble up or not. So it becomes as safe as lowsec, which I consider much safer than nullsec in terms of travel.
What happens if the other side of a gate is bubbled (Your blindspot)? You are stuck in the bubble...not with Interdict. Nullifier though. You can just warp away.
For traveling I would use warp core stabs (even if a fast locking frig gets you, you can just warp), cloak and interdict. nullifier.

Ok so it's doable it seems, but the fit needs a little tweaking. Different AB and a different shield booster first of all. Then some warp-stabs for the travelling fit.
With regards to docking in null-sec, I am only going to be in NPC owned space probably, since I am after the agents for missions. If an alliance or corp "claims" the system, I'll try working out a deal with them.
