Did people decide they were bad or is there some reason that so many T3 inputs are coming onto the market? Did that null sec NPC nerf induce more people to hunt things that drop T3 inputs?

Don't worry, it will rise again after Pandemic Legion lose their Tengu fleet a couple of times (increased demand).

As a mass manufacturer of T3s i can say the cause is from many things all at once. QEN a bunch of people jumped on the bandwagon looking for quick turnovers. 0.0 nerf with many people moving out saw a TON of single unit sell orders hit the market with people selling off their T3s which wouldn't be used anymore. Lastly we are reaching the beginning of the summer slump to a price drop is predicted anyways.

Those could all be part of it. But looking at the long term data, it seems Tengu prices still have a ways to drop after that giant spike in December, 2010. You know, when they gave everyone who had trained learning skills millions of skill points to play with? At a time when the Tengu was acknowledged as the best PVE option, by a mile? Far from collapsing, the price has been dropping steadily since as that one time demand spike has been smoothed out.
So for those thinking "Now's a good time to buy and hold!" it's not.
