I have recently fell in love with the Ishkur. It has become my favorite frigate next to the Jaguar.
Anywho, irrelevant comment is irrelevant.
My question is - What do you do to counter Dramiels?
I am well aware that Dramiels are BAMF ships but... I did not know to what extent until earlier today.
Earlier today I got into a 1v1 with a Dramiel in my Ishkur. I had no idea what to expect. The Dramiel warped right on top of me, Had guns primed, scramb primed, everything primed. Locked, opened fire, launched the 4x ecm drones + 1x warrior, once I saw lock dropped, recalled one ecm drone and then launched a second warrior. Activated armor rep, was taking a Lot more damage than I had expected. These Dramiels.. pack... one Hell of a punch. Overloaded guns and armor rep + warp scrambler. Saw drones coming from him, started to kill his drones, then noticed my drones were being picked off, d'oh. Too many things were happening too fast for me. A Navy Firetail had warped in but I had no earthly clue what would come of that so I decided to switch my tracking disrupter to the firetail. He warped out. Then the dramiel started to pummel me again.. however this time, my armor reps could not keep up with the dps or so it seemed.
I died. Was a good fight. However, I do not know what I did wrong.
Heres what I have thus far;
 Need to work on drone micromanagement. About halfway through the engagement I stopped looking at my drones health to focus on his drones. Big mistake. This shall not happen again.
Ammo? I believe I was using 2 rounds of Anti Matter and 1 round of Null. I don't know what is optimal for ammo usage or not.
Tracking Disrupter or Web? I do not know which is more optimal. I was told Web if I want to fight frigates and TD if I want to engage the occasional bigger target.
General orbital mechanics. I'm completely clueless on this as well.
There was a point in the fight where I could have ran if I wanted to. I realized that when my ecm drones cycle went through. I considered running.. but since this had been my first Dramiel engagement, I wanted to test out what would happen. No point in running from a relatively even fight. I say relatively because apparently the Dramiel is overpowered. I don't know if this is true. I don't care if this is true. I want to be more prepared to fight Dramiels in the future.

Poor Ishkur went Boom
Not exactly the way I wanted to lose the Ishkur but it was a learning experience. Better luck next time. I have taken the Dramiel off of the "to avoid" ships list now.
Also, your Ishkur fittings would also be awesome too.
