Its time for a new class of Orca that uses subsystems for bays. Each type of bay would have several sizes. A player could configure an Orca with 1 large bay of any type or smaller bays of different types. This would make the Orca a great intermediate hauler and the ultimate support ship.

agreed, no t3 orca, its not neccessary, but still having one skill for one ship is indeed kinda weak. so change the skill around, or add more ships into that class.

Sure the orca is a mining support ship, but not everyone is using it that way. In real life as in Eve items like ships are often taken and then used for something rather than its original use; the only difference being that in real life designers and corporations would move fast to capitalize on this in order to corner the market and make more money.

Well to be honest I would like to see a cloaky Orca. It would make mining in low-sec and null-sec a lot safer/ more interesting.

orca can fit cloak and with good skills plus t2 inertia stabs & 100mn ab its not to shabby align and jump wise im using it as an exploration support vessel, it would be nice with a larger ship maint bay, it dosnt have to carry a bs, but if it could fit a noctius a bc af a t2 cruiser and a cov ops ship, that would be sweet..
If you could undock and set a pass word so no one could steal it or some how anchor it (and it uses some kind of fuel) for a basic shield
this would be epic..

Id rather see a ship carrier orca with a massive ship hangar and possibly a fitting service and naff all else, purely to facilitate operating away from home. possibly add some generic gang link bonuses in there and it really would be a mobile base of operations for small corps / individuals with an alt or two.

Well some sort of T3 miner ship would maybe be a good idea for the Wh market to get another ship to build but maybe make it more challenging like a minimum high level class system to build it.
