Dazram Two	Posted - 2011.04.24 08:45:00 - [1] I've tried searching and can't seem to find a guide on stealth bombers that's not old. All the guides I come across mention torpedos reaching out to 60+ KM which is an indication that said guide is out dated and not relevant. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Cambarus The Baros Syndicate	Posted - 2011.04.25 00:33:00 - [7] Javelin torps with rigs and whatnot can hit out past 100km fairly easily on a SB. You need better skills I think (note that SBs get a torp velocity bonus that makes their torps go farther, as well as a flight time bonus)

SB's frigate-skill bonuses are 50% flight time and 100% velocity, so even if you have none of the missile support skills trained that's 27 km. You cannot have an SB without those bonuses, you have to have racial frigates 5 to enter the ship. The ship bonus to missile velocity must not be factored in when I do show info on my torps. Because when I do it says I have 6.00s flight time and 1500 velocity or whatever which = 9000km range. But yeah I totally over looked the ship bonus. Thanks alot.

Well, the MWD SB is moving at about 1600 m/s, and 2200 m/s overloaded. Are you capable of hitting a Frigate orbiting you at 20km at those speeds in your Battleship? Even drones have a difficult time shooting Frigs at that speed. The only BS that wouldn't have too hard a time against this setup is a Raven, as most ratting Ravens have Rigors, and missiles cannot miss. MSE SB's are also fitted with an AB, in which case the SB is moving at about 800 m/s, which is still a difficult speed for a Battleship to hit a Frigate. Don't believe me? Ask this guy: Some guy I killed <-- That was two weeks ago. At the OP: Yeah, his setups are all viable to this day. I cannot quite remember at the moment, but if I recall correctly I had a slight CPU/PG issue at the time, because I didn't have Shield Upgrades V. Depending on your skills you may have a slightly tough time fitting the SB as is in the link. Also, I engaged that BS when there were a lot in local. His friends warped in before I could finish him off and they killed me. Here was the fit I was using: My fitting Cheers.

I see you are talking out your ass, well done son. To the OP, yes ValaÆs solo bomber fits remain essentially the only way to fit a solo/small gang bomber to this day.
