Power went out during this lightning storm im having while in the middle of a mission. All the npc were dead so would i lose my ship? Thing is is that a player showing solid red entered my mission area seconds before. I don't want to risk my pc by turning it on(on my Droid now). ================================================= What is right is not always popular, and what is popular is not always right. |

Him being red just means that you can shoot him. He cannot shoot you unless
a) You're in lowsec b) You shot at him before, c) You're at war.
Regardless, unless you are actively engaged against another player, upon disconnecting your ship emergency-warps out in a random direction a few million kilometers, and then disappears 2 minutes later.
So no, your ship is in no danger whatsoever.

Incorrect sir.
If you are engaged with someone (i.e. you have the yellow/red 15 minute aggression/GCC timer) then you ship will TRY to warp away to a safepoint 1 million km away (I say "TRY" because if you have a warp disruptor on you then you won't warp away at all) and your ship will sit in space, inert, for the duration of your aggression timer (which means you can be probed out during that time). _______________________

Nothing he said conflicts with your statement.

When you log out your ship will attempt emergency warp to a random location within 1 AU of where you were. Any form of warp disruption will prevent this emergency warp unless you have sufficient warp core stabilisers to counter it.
A ship with no aggression flags of any kind (shown or hidden) will disappear 60 seconds (1 minute) from the moment the pilot logs out.
A ship with NPC aggression (shown or hidden) will disappear 120 seconds (2 minutes) from the moment the pilot logs out.
A ship with PvP aggression (shown or hidden) will disappear 900 seconds (15 minutes) from the moment the pilot logs out, no matter how much time was left on the aggression timer when the pilot logs out (even if you had 30 seconds of PvP aggression left your ship will still disappear only after 15 minutes).
Note that in 0.0 space, interdiction fields (aka bubbles) will also give you PvP aggression if they have any effect on your ship. This means warping to a gate with a 'pull bubble' will also give you PvP aggression even from before you come out of warp, as it has already affected your ship's destination. --- ISD IonCharge Lt. Thanks guys for respnding and everything is ok. I did get warped away from the mission area. Probably sucked for the Ninja Salvager that I didn't finish the mission but ohs well. ================================================= What is right is not always popular, and what is popular is not always right. |
