I'm going to be skilling up an Armor Logi, I'm sort of torn between the choices. I also plan to get into Fleet Command ships and Amarr (Damnation) seems to be superior in this, at least compared to Gallente (to my knowledge). However, I'm not going to using the Guardian to it's full effectiveness or at least not the way it was intended. I'm mostly going to be Solo in PvE fleets. This, I've been told, is a better job for the Onieros.
Surely, the Guardian's bonus to working in pairs will be a great asset to at least have available, but it won't be the primary use. Will I be gimping myself by training Amarr Cruiser instead of Gal? I'm well aware that Cruiser V for both races is pretty petty in terms of training times, but, I'd at least like a decent head start into what could be the Fleet Command race of choice, as well as seeing use through a good portion of Logistics V training.
Any opinions?

Are you absolutely certain that NOBODY will have a utility high to fit an energy transfer? Quite a few ships have a utility high slot. If you orbit within 9k, you can take advantage of it.

Cloak---> Hit trigger ---> Cloak ---> Hit Trigger
You can cap recharge the guardian fit and just have other ship grab aggro in room and then cloak before the trigger spawns the next wave. For incursions and WH's you would probably need a second logi if you needed the first logi anyway.

I was able to solo a a logistics pilot with L4 mission-running fleets, flying an Augoror or Osprey. One key is making bookmarks close to the mission space so you can warp out and come back in quickly. Set the ship up with cap, AB, make sure people don't hit triggers too soon.
You cannot solo as logistics in Incursions, and IMHO you should not try solo logistics in low/null.
