Okay so I have a corp friend who has really bad lag and keeps disconnecting during eve game play. This is really bad, because he cannot mission, he cannot go low sec... and he is a very experienced player with a lot of skill points and it is a shame it suddenly doesn't work for him.
I know there are some solutions to this, i read about http tunneling and what not and I am not sure which one suits his needs. The thing is, me, as his corp friend, I have a virtual private server in London, to which he can connect and vent and stay there for days without disconnect. That server has a ping of 1.2 ms with TQ, pretty sweet.
Is there any linux thing I can install on my VPS, and any windows thing he can install on his PC that can tunnel his client through my server to TQ?
This seems weird but I believe with the proper tools it can work very well. He has 80 ms ping to my London server so if it is possible it would work for sure. Any way to configure EVE to use proxies? Please help me as I have not done any of this before.
Thank you.

As a member of same corp i know he has done everything ccp have asked of him, sent logs ran repair tool ect ect. He is having a packet loss on the last hop before the london server's.
If anyone could help ZEn with any suggestions to help get our corp m8 back online that would be awesome.

My friend was getting 50-60% packet loss with his Virgin Media connection. He fixed it by phoning them up and asking them to change the "modem connection". It's like a phone line, but for modems apparently. I may have got the name wrong... But it's something like that.
His packet loss went back down to very near 0% after that. Hope this helps!
I notice the packet loss is on the very last step, so it might not be the problem, but it's worth a shot as it's free and simple.
