It would seem that the current discussion underlines the wisdom of this policy. I suggest that if the KPV and the KotMC have a disagreement, they resolve it in a civilised manner. Preferably behind closed doors.

If a challenge for Honourable Duel was demanded (which in this case it appears it was), tradition states, that each party would name a trusted representative (a "second") who would, between them, determine a suitable "field of honour." It was also the duty of each party's second to check that the weapons were equal and that the duel was fair. If a duel was to happen between loyal Amarrian Pilots and this wasn't followed, then the duel would not be honourable, and personally I feel that you would lose face before God and our Equals.

Where I come from the one that feels slighted has cause to set terms of resolution, unless both parties agree to a neutral arbitrator... and I agree to none in nearly all matters as I take my own council as Lord of my house and Leader of the Vanguard..
