Hello everyone
Me and a couple of friends have recently upgraded our home from a class 2 to a class 5, and are suddenly facing up to two Advanced Battleship sleepers. We've been used to clear rats from Ladar- and Gravemetric sites with just BC'ers etc. We're still quite new to the game, 10mil and a couple SP, so wondering what our choices are in terms of clearing these belts for rats?
Have been looking into a Scorpion for jamming, but found it rather hard to find any real info on this compared to the class 5 sleepers.
Any idea's or experience are very welcome :)

I heard Class 5s need a rather dedicated group of T3s to even attempt.

Even the Ladar / Grav sites consisting of "just" two battleships?
Of the very litle information I've been able to gather from our alliance and reading forums, I've heard 3-4 spider tanked batlleships or getting a scorpion to jam.
Would be very interested in hearing if anyone had any experience with the scorpion and battleship sleepers :)

ECM ****es them off and makes them move out to their optimal. I hope you can hit well at 70-90km. |

I use 2 remote rep Tengu:
1. Warp in first ship to get Sleeper agro.
2. Warp in 2nd ship to rep first ASAP.
3. Kill cruisers first (they warp scramble).
4. By the time the Sleepers switch neut targets (often they neut both ships) the cruisers are destroyed so there is no problem having to warp out (never had to myself), and often one battleship.

Went in there with a drake just to check it out (obviously went horribly wrong) and had both battleships warp scramble.
Thanks for the advise with the Tengu's though, getting subsystems to 5 atm, so thats probably they way we're gonna go about it.
ECM making them move out of optimal, will they come back after the ECM wears of so you can re-start it, or?

run some RR fits in EFT. Rule of thumb: 1 your BS for 1 sleeper BS makes it easy.
Technically 2 sleeper BS can be soloed without issues in t1 BS with good skills and t2 fit. 2 noob chars in RR and Rcap domis has 0 issues.

Every visitor from 0.0 or other C5s will be able to lock down your whole system, and there will be lots of them. What do you want in a C5? C3 should provide enough ores for a noob corp and has immediate access to empire for refining and logistics.
I hope you at least built a real death star POS, otherwise you'll soon have some visitors who won't stop at shooting your mining barges.

If your talking about the 2 advanced battleships that spawn in the Vital Ladar site, i was able to kill these in a moderatley pimped tengu, 3 battlecruiser's will have no problem killing them, just dont try any anom's

I cleared a C5 grav with a single legion, but the spawn was 1 BS and 1 Cruiser - capped down to less than 20% at one point (fitted extra recharger in mids just in case) and had to switch off a hardener.
As always with the unknown, go onto SiSi, find a C5 and try out various tactics before you do it in game.
