If that is your wish, then I suppose it can be arranged, otherwise I have no limit as to how much I'm willing to donate. Either way, it's all for the Racing League, as well as those pilots who come out ahead and win it. Perhaps you too will be racing? If so, then I look forward to seeing you out on the field.

Well this is quite an interesting turn of events today. Just a quick update on our current sponsorships, we have:
claire xxx on behalf of The Star Fraction, sponsoring an additional Four Hundred million ISK, increasing their total contribution to One billion ISK. Dewgong on his own behalf, contributing an additional One billion ISK, increasing his total contribution to One billion, six hundred and seventy-Five million ISK.
And two new individuals that have joined our family of sponsors: pilots Sabriel Aborson and PMSing. Sabriel took time out of her busy schedule grazing on the strawberry fields to contribute One Hundred Million ISK towards Season 1.0, and that's guaranteed to make everyone here at the League Muuu for Ms. Aborson. And like a good waffle should, PMSing was generous enough to sponsor the League for Fifty Million ISK from her personal account, bringing our current total to 3.15 Billion ISK for this season's events.
Many thanks to our sponsors in helping to make this season's events entertaining and memorable!

Edited by: claire xxx on 30/04/2011 19:30:17 Ms. Rho,
I'd be grateful if you'd be so kind as to total up what Mr. Dewgong has donated, and send me an email with the amount of difference between us so that I can match those funds (rough estimate is something like 700M +/- but math isn't my strong suit). I'm currently planet-side with other issues, but as soon as I get back to my ship I'll access my wallet and send the remainder of the Isk.

Ms. Rho,
I apologize for being out of communications range, my family duties planet-side took longer that I thought they would. I was finally able to make it back to my ship today and have transferred the additional funds to your account.

Confirmed. This sets The Star Fraction's current sponsorship total to 1.675 billion ISK, and the totals for the entire season to a magnificent 3.825 billion ISK! We will continue to accept sponsorships throughout the season, and as always please contact me (Gyra Rho) with your interest.
Stay tuned: In two weeks we'll be advertising team registrations for Season 1.0!

I've heard some ruuuuuumors...
Consider any such rumors confirmed, my good man. Though I've been, shall we say, asleep for quite some time, Mr. Kurosawa and I shall be back in the team building business in short order. I understand that he is already hard at work while I gather my bearings.
To address dear Ms. Jamieson-Read's concerns, I almost resent the notion that Venture Racing Team was ever in an ash heap in the first place.
Best of luck to friends and friendly competitors alike in the upcoming season!

You misunderstood me, though in all fairness I could perhaps have spoken more clearly. My meaning was not that Venture in particular was in an ash heap, but more along the notion of teams rising from the ashes of the (defunct) previous league - my own team included.
I am glad to hear one of our biggest rivals team-wise will be back on the track as well. And of course, Mr. Kurosawa himself remains a personal target of mine to beat. Looking forward to meeting Venture on the track,

I'm sorry to hear that Mr. Rigel. I assure you it wasn't intentional. I've been away for nearly two years and didn't exactly go searching for other racing organizations prior to the formation of this one. Consider it an innocent misstep.

Pray hope you don't go innocently misstepping your racer into the side of some pirate's dominix while preparing the race track, eh? Wouldn't want the season to end early!

Hello Rawr, glad to see you're still about. And Ms. Constantine, thanks for the positive word. With the sponsorship of your alliance I think we just made this season even better.
And as for you, Rigel...

I'm not gonna dwell on your petty grievances, an' if you want to take it personal it's your problem, not mine. I've run a tight organization for over two years and six plus seasons under my belt as an organizer, and I like to think I've earned the right to call the Racing League the premiere event for racing entertainment. We might be the best, but it doesn't imply we're the only ones, so I don't know what your damage is. You expect me to advertise for you in our corporate description?
Get over yourself. You've lost any sympathy I might have had for you.

The New Eden Racing Association is proud to announce its newest official sponsor of Season 1.0, pilot Nicoletta Mithra. Charming as she is graceful, Ms. Mithra bestowed upon the League for the amount of One Hundred Million ISK, and brought us ever closer to the four billion ISK mark for the season. The NE-RA welcomes her to our family of sponsors and reminds us that "There are no speed limits on the road to excellence."

When I woke up from my long nap, a young fellow by the name of Darth graciously gave me 75 million ISK to help finance my return to piloting. In honor of the league's new incarnation, I'd like to give it to the NE-RA.
From all of us at Venture Racing, welcome back to space, Ms. Rho.

Given the nature of the event, it's extremely difficult to do both without contributions from the actual racers on the track, as we do not have individuals recording at each of the waypoints. We will have a post-event synopsis available for public consumption, along with updated point scores for teams and individuals. Generally, the best way to see what's happening is being on the track. *grins*

In surprising turn of events, our current sponsor Nicoletta Mithra has included an additional One Hundred and Twenty-Five Million ISK toward Season 1.0. Attributed to encouragement from her corporation, Ordo Novus Mul-Zatah, the added funds increases the total season pot for the League to an astounding 4.125 billion isk! On behalf of the New Eden Racing Association, we are proud to have her apart of our family of sponsors.

I'm not really the type for risking my crew for what is essentially a game. And these types of endurance rallies aren't really my thing anyway. I prefer the subwarp variant, with the thrill of taking corners at multiple km/s. That is a good spectator sport, by the way. If the NE-RA would decide to host subwarp races, my team would be among the first to sign up.

Well, Mr. Biko, since the function of crew is for maintenance and generally events don't last more than an hour or so, I think you'd be safe leaving them at home.
*grins*
And I won't speak for the league racers, but I'd venture a bet they get plenty of excitement from navigating dense asteroid fields, surviving the numerous dangers that inhabit a regular season event and walking away to tell the tale. Also, I haven't met too many capsule pilots who were comfortable sitting on the sidelines watching other people having a good time; What better way to discover what's happening than being there?
