All of my missions have been courier missions until now. Now I have to destroy a Container ship and I'm lost.
I've attacked it with my missle frigate and after using all of my rockets I barely touched it's shields.
Then I attacked it with my hybrid weapons and it is draining the shields but never destroyed it before losing all ammo.
So just what the frack does it take to destroy this beast? |

If you can't bring enough DPS to bear on your target, you can try a couple of things:
1. Use the correct damage type against your target. Make sure you're not using, e.g., EM missiles against it. Always use the correct damage-type for your target (or just use thermal, since almost every enemy is weak to thermal to some degree).
2. Carry lots of spare missiles if the enemy has a lot of tank.
3. Get abigger ship. Fly a Caracal outfitted with Rapid Light Missile Launchers.
4. Fly an Amarr ship outfitted with Pulse lasers because lasers don't need ammo. However, they only do EM/thermal damage.
You may also need to improve your gunnery/missile skills.

Rats don't follow standard resist types, it may be very resistant to EM. |

I finally got an answer in chat. I needed to take 1000 ammo in my hold so I could do multiple loadouts to destroy the site. |
