Ive been having issues with my client locking up. freezing, grafix glitches, overheating and other general issues with the game client. I submited petitions on the matter. I have found 2 solutions.
1. Optimize setting for performance then reload the client.
2. go into the windows performance settings and increase the page file aka virtual ram ammount. (mine was at 6000mb- 9000mb) I increased to 10000-15000 mb.
the second solution increased my fps by 30 fps and increased general performance of the client. I also dropped about 30* c off of my gpu temps. |

Did it...Still no effect. (increased my VMem like four-fold).
I'm getting a great many "Timeslice warnings" since this started, if that means anything.
It is past time for upgrades (coming Soon(TM)), but some people say they don't seem to help as much as one would think.
Proper code-optimisation, we can haz, pls, CCP?

I've had issues with crashes since May. I've had 3 petitions on the same issue since and each 'solution' was short lived. I was on the verge of terminating my characters in protest. I tried everything to fix the problem including replacing damaged RAM getting a new graphics card (Nvidia GTX560) , SSD and Superhub from Virgin media to fix the problem of lost packet data . On the 13th of this month I recieved an email from Nvidia re new drivers and I've not had issues since installing it. I feel as if I'm tempting fate just by writing this lol.
Running pingplotter seemed to give false info re packet data loss since doing a ping test from the dos prompt did not produce the same results that was indicated by the software. I can only assume that the driver was at fault. Hopefully it won't happen again and you guys got your issues sorted.
