Runing complexes in galant and the stuff was droping like candy, armor reps, reomote reps, resistance amps, mwd and ab's, you will almost always get at least one item if you get to the final room, and some times 3+, 3 with the main target and some times the named will have some thing also. but every thing is armor related or a propulsion mod, nothing for shileds.
went down to minmitar to run some complexes hoping i could get some thing shield related, 2 days and not one drop, it isnt that i didnt get what i was hoping, there is nothing droping, it realy seems out of balance, one area where it virtualy rains the stuff and another that has nothing.
How long has it been like this?
Hopfully this is just some thing that recently went out of wack, and is being fixed.

I have this feeling it's normal, and that it goes a lot further than just complexes and faction loot. As I move from one area to another, I'll see often drastic differences between loot - not just by type but by amount per same-size kill and also the amount of kills available at the same size/bounty level.

You have to keep in mind that matari are hardcore difficulty mode.

I don't think the Angel Cartel are known for their ability to shield tank...
That's more in the line of Guristas.

Damn, seriously? He's complaining about the loot drops in 1/10 newbie drug dealer plexes in gallente space. Coreli c-type frigate mods, of which only 3 items are really worth any money... and even then it's less than 20m. before the loot table nerf you were getting meta 4 t1 items that sold for more than that out of belt rats. Serpentis loot is the ass end of all the faction loot, so you have to get 3 drops to make any type of money. Quantity versus quality broham

Who says CCP even uses an RNG?? Do you think it's some kind of universal constant that all games bow to and follow with precision? There are many ways the results of a RNG can be manipulated after the generation of probability and before entering the results into the game.
Did you even consider any of the above might be affecting the outcome of drops? I've seen enough very questionable occurrences in Eve and some moron always plays the RNG card.
I say BS on the RNG and how it is allegedly used in Eve. Proof or STFU.

Yeah, something is terribly wrong with shield related drops. I ganked 9 tengus in a few weeks and only 1 shieldbooster dropped out of 10 possible

Confirming that Cartel definitely does drop shield mods such as b-type resist amps. In general, although not the best modules out there, they are easier on fitting or cap by a long ways over t2 or pith mods.

How many cans of Quafe Zero have you sacrificed to our RNG overlords?
On a more serious note, does anyone know how the distribution of faction drops works? Is there just a massive list of possible drops for each tier, with items at random? Are there separate tables, each of which can drop an item? Are some entries in a loot table higher weighted than the others, and more likely to drop?
