amarr are only good at amarr missions because of the EM/thermal (like sansha)
and all the other races seem to be good at each other

Amarr have a few drone/missile boats, but are primarily a laser based empire.
Lasers that deal kinetic/explosive damage don't go "PEW PEW PEW" so lasers will forever be locked into EM/Thermal. Sorry.
Most support skills for Amarr (gunnery/drones/fitting/cap) work fairly well for ships like the Maelstrom. You just need to train some shield skills.

Amarr have the best raw damage projection, there would be no reason to fly anything else if they could choose their damage type.
Also come back after you've used hybrids for a while, then you can tell us all about how unfair it is that amarr are damage-type locked  |

Or at killing blood Raiders or even other Amarr. Rogue Drones are also good targets.
Not used lasers for while but I think they do Ok versus Serpentis as well, weak to thermal ?
Iffy against Angels and Gurista but mitigated a little by good basic damage output

No. Amarr are very good at mission running. Amarr are the best race against rats that are weak to em/thermal, even better than Caldari. Against Angel and Guristas they're not so great anymore but still sufficient. The biggest problem beginners have with Amarr is that this race looks weak because its very skill intensive. But once you are able to use T2 lasers and have good support skills Amarr starts to shine.

I've been running missions on my Gallente main in a domi for ages while my alt has been cleaning up after me. Just recently I decided to finally put my alt into another battleship, since the alt already had Amarr frig and cruiser skills I ended up training large lazors and Amarr battleship. And yeah... been kicking myself repeatedly over not doing that much, much earlier. Compared to rails a rack of large pulse lasers just ****s everything, even Angel rats.

most guristas missions are blitzable enough that I don't think amarr is all that gimped to them the only problem imo is angels and welp they die in a fire rather quickly to amarr's high dps
if anything the gallente is the gimp race most people saying the domi is their best mission runner... Well lol!

I do missions exclusively in Amarr ships and I love it. True, Angels and Guristas are the slowest opponents to kill, but everything else dies very, very fast, including serps and mercs

There is a noticable damage drop when fighting Guritas and Angels but it's not something to cry over, missions are still more than doable.

Amarr are nice in their own space and decent in gallente, but they're just god awful against angels. Guristas now aswell, but that's pretty much the case for any ship that can't fit a whole bunch of eccm.

Or just use the CNR for the Angel and Gurista missions and the nightmare for the rest.

8 lows = 4 heatsinks in addition to the cookie cutter 4 slot tank. TCs achieve better tracking than TEs, or same range as TEs via script. Navy Geddon has drone bandwidth to field 5 sentries/heavies, plus enough drone room for a flight of med/light drones in addition. It's one of the mostly undiscovered jewels in game. For Amar rats, it outperforms Mach for far less. Mach is very good, but overrated. Navy Geddon is underrated, and deserve more credit than it has gotten.

Don't really agree with either statement. Mach is overpowered and geddon doesn't have the range, even with scorch, to be efficient in most situations. Throwing on heavy/sentry dps with imperial MF makes the EFT pic look awsome, but in reality it's a bit worse than a nightmare or paladin, and generally speaking worse than a navy apoc.

Agrees with all of the above and like to add that with amarr ships when you got good gunnery skills and engineering skills you can do any mission , even gurristas and angels. Gurristas go down quickly one you break their shields and angels , well since they tend to come in and fight at close range.
