We started to gather these idiotypes after being inspired by Robert Lanham's book "Food Court Druids, Cheronhonokees and other creatures unique to the Republic". A couple of us read the book and got a ton of laughs out of it. Our idiotype section is still under construction, and no we are not calling anyone idiots. Idiotype is a term used in anthropology ued to classify people by their behavior. We of course are all aware of the broad categories like pirates and carebears, but we are striving to get more detailed categories documented.
Like I said its a work in progress, so if you have any additions of your own you can eve-mail me. Some upcoming categories will be Patch Demons, DED Asssembly Druids and the Sun-Lovers |

You never see a Local Steve in space, he is just always there in the system. He likes to warn and encourage other people to fight you, and then post about how awesome he is on the EvE-Online forums.
That's about the closest any of 'em are to me (except I WILL get my whole alliance to chase you ina blob).

Skillpoint Steve-O
Steve-O is a special breed.
Ignoring other Eve players' desire to go screeching across the galaxy looking for targets, Skillpoint Steve-O gets his jollies from admiring his INT and MEM attributes and bragging about his skillpoint total in the Skills section of Eve-Online.com.
He also has a tendency to collect tons of ships,yet rarely fly them into combat.
He is somewhat like R&D Richard, only with a trustfund and bad nerves.
