I think its an awesome present .. way to live it up a few times as a blow out celebration of the annivesary... (didnt'watch the video .. can't comment)

If you are unhappy with the booster then just don't redeem it and pretend it never happened, how hard can that be?
Noone's forcing you to use it. Noone's going to have a huge advantage over you because you don't want it. So many people find things to whine and complain about in this amazing game I sometimes forget this isn't the WoW forum.

Been playing for a year and I love the game, but i feel disappoint about the gift, and yes a better item to celebrate the occasion would be better.
i contracted my 6 cans to CCP Guard, if he liked it so much he can have it.

I too cannot imagine anyone who would want their ship to move and lock faster. What possible use is that? It's not like anyone speed tanks, or wants to lock that little bit faster for the edge in a fight.

I'm intrigued....what were you hoping for? Your own POS? A couple of billion ISK? Some Amazon vouchers? How about an all expenses paid trip to Reykjavik to tour the offices, or perhaps some shares in the company? I've been here 8 years and they've made a genuine effort most anniversaries / xmas to inject a little bit of fun and celebrate these occasions....They make an effort and they don't have to, but they do it to put a smile on our faces and engage with their customers.
And every time they do it an idiot like you pops up and complains....Personally, If i were CCP, I'd stop bothering and give everyone sweet FA in future.

I couldn't agree more. As far as most of the presents we get this is actually one of the most intriguing. Better then a novelty ship IMHO.
