So....
The new Drake was fitted, new launchers (Finally trained for T2, just for the fun) and so I went a few jumps to test the new offensive systems.
Sadly.... the systems were quite deserted so when I reached Osi, I decided to test my launchers in the belt.... something had to die and rats were better then nothing.
I warped to zero and started targeting when suddenly an Impairor warped in, lading 4km from my Drake. Scout? Whatever, a better target than rats anyway and so I locked, shot it and wanted to warp out but took a quick look into the wreck since it was only a few km away, not even suspecting that he would cary anyting valuable...

not saying I don't believe it....but its just a little too good for my tastes...but then there are people just that stupid. |

Did they change the properities of PLEX? I just took a year off but I thought you couldn't take PLEX out of a station. |

Yes they did, almost a year ago iirc. Almost immediately after it happened there was a report of something like 70 plex being destroyed in a gank. CCP has profited quite well from the wanton destruction of plex. |

What's wrong with the API verified link in the OP? With a minimum of effort you can see it API verified elsewhere too

It says API Verified in OP's link so I'll roll with it. But the question is why would someone do this? My conspiracy theories are as follows, in descending order of likelihood:
1. OP is a rich bastard and killed their own alt.
2. Some other rich bastard specifically warped to a low sec belt in a newb ship with three plexes in hopes of generating a minor stir on the forum.
3. Someone is a dumpling and forgot that they had plex in their cargo. But then the question would remain why they would take a newb ship to a belt in 0.2, and not be able to warp out before a BC could get a lock. |

Even we are still puzzeling how that happened. No, it was not an own alt, I am far from rich. Really strange though... |

It is indeed a fail fit.......and puzzling in motivation. But I've seen dumber things in this game. The '74 PLEX Frigate' for example.
But then the last H'geddon certainly revealed how many actual FailFits are on even most of the Blockade Runners out there.

The chance of that happening again is going to be slim. I bet that nia Fera is kicking herself in the arse for doing something stupid as going out and fighting with 3 Plexes in the hold.
I wonder if her corp-mates are aware of what was lost as well? Would love to be that fly on the wall for that conversation. |
