I have been mulling over whether or not to teach everyone who wants to learn, how to suicide gank. Theres a few 'new' tricks out there that it make easier than ever to gank. And not your garden variety "wait for afk ship and kill it" either. I am talking about teaching everyone willing-how to gank even frigates on warp to Zero- even in empire.
I will let you guys decide whether to teach the masses or save it and host a small seminar at next Fanfest. Of course it will be unofficial and will in no way be supported by CCP etc, and you are welcome to flame, troll and do anything you like here, except turn this into a WI DOT thread
I give you my word as CSM Alternate-I will follow through with whatever the majority decides on, in this thread after 10 days or so. There are (I think) over 10,000 active characters with enough sec status and skills to pull at least 50,000 ganks before everyone in eve is negetive sec status. Wouldn't that be grand? 50K Ganks-even the Hoover Dam couldnt hold back all those tears...

Suicide ganking for the sake of suicide ganking is lame. I've used the tactic before, but I only do it when it's worth it or in another case I discovered that it was a scanner ship.
So, yeah... even if you could convince 10,000 people to ruin 50,000 people's lives it wouldn't be worth it.

I think it is a great concept. Even if you are against suicide ganking, learning the techniques allows you to invent new counters.

Very good point. In fact, if there were even a very small number of people willing to give their time, they could prevent 80% of suicide ganks with current game mechanics. This method I WON'T teach anyone

I think if you really wanted to do it, you'd just get on with it.. So I call trolololol
But on the off-chance that what I type here has any effect, then no I'd rather you didn't teach everyone. High-sec is crappy enough without being subject to some kind of gank epidemic, and in the end it would just annoy people. Funny perhaps if all you want to do is grief, but it would soon get old for the rest of us.

Not only does this have no effect on the majority of ganks, but if the gankers so choose they can also de-spawn CONCORD using a similar technique.
Originally by: EnslaverOfMinmatar When your security status gets too high, grab a destroyer and teach someone not to fly in a pod.
And when your security status gets to -10, you may find that you can continue doing this virtually unhindered, and teach many many people not to fly in a pod.

Privaters turned into an "all you cat eat buffet, giving high-sec wars to the masses"
We ate till CPP puked, it raised alot of forum whining and wardec limits got nerfed by CCP.
Dont give the game away by making the same mistakes.
Leave those with the inclination and ability to learn the finer points to do it on their own, writing a guide book will net you 15 mins of e-famebut then as always CCP will cater to the carebare whining masses. Rather than take in-game action it will be forum whining followed by a swing from the "CCP-cash_&_subs-quantity_over_quality_nerfbat".

Pre-spawning CONCORD is not bannable. What is bannable is using an alt to prespawn CONCORD then biomassing that alt while it still has a negative security status.

For the record: The way to stop suicide ganking has nothing whatsoever to do with concord. Prespawning Concord is lulzworthy at best. I will gank on gates that have just had a freighter gank-with at times well over 100 concord. In fact-some of our best ganks came during such circumstances...The target ship couldnt cloak because why? Because he was 1500 M from a concord spawn.... One of my all time favorite ganks...
Also: Since this thread has devolved into a rules debate about prespawning useless concord, and only a small handful of people have weighed in, I think I will have to make another thread or just Go by whatever Ashley Sky says.
I apologize for abandoning yet another thread-but this time I have great excuse: I was in the hospital with cardiac issues. Seems that I had small series of heart attacks on Thursday night. Hookers and blow FTW. Anyway docs said I am physically just fine but were concerned about my mental state. The upside was I got more prescription candies.
If some really rich carebears want the real knowledge of how to stop suicide ganks-it exists and isnt even that difficult. I would sell that info for 125 Bn isk, about what I make a year part time ganking. I promise you it has nothing to do with concord
