Kaikura Akuji	Posted - 2005.02.11 04:00:00 - [1] I was out killing rats.When some guy in a destroyer targets me.I just thought it was another rat,so i fired.Then i realized it was'nt a rat but it was to late. He gave me my stuff back.He said he ment to target a roid but go me instead.So this was a first for me.Can i repair my stats?If so how.I'm afraid to leave the station as i've heard you can get blown up again. Dam i lost my merlin.This realy stinks.I did have full insurance at least.That guy was out mining in that ship.

Some two week old player tricks a few day old player by targeting them and having them shoot back. Sorry you got burned. Consider it a learning experience. There is a wait time once you are flagged by CONCORD. To be safe, do not undock in anything you care about for at least 30 minutes. When you say repair your stats do you mean you lost skill points? If you did, make sure to go to a station with a Medical service in it to upgrade your clone. You can find the locations of Cloning stations using the Stars tab of the map.

Scerenity	Posted - 2005.02.11 07:17:00 - [4] It is 15 minutes. Oh and the timer gets reset if you logoff, so make sure that you've been online for 15 minutes after, instead of it simply being 15 minutes since it last occured . ------ Scerenity Selling Me!

Killing NPC's iether in belts or through missions will build you status back up to a positive Typherin LaiDai Care Negotitations Expert level 5 'Give me a position of power and I'l abuse it in an instant'

WTF? I was docked during most of the period, but not logged. time= 7:44 and then again at 8:18 hmmmmmm...and again when i tested just hanging outside station in a shuttle. blam. i wonder if the timer resets every time concord blows you away? hmmmmmm...i logged just to test the theory, but it looks like "timer turns off at log" is incorrect as far as i can tell. I'm not keen on repeating these tests since i'm free and clear now. It does seem rather important to know the rules, and as a n00b this is one of the things that really disturbed me - not the fact i did something dumb and the AI blew me to spacedust, it was the fact you don't get a warning about your flagged state. I'm assuming i'll get a smartass hypothetical reply from CCP stating if they told the mechanics it would be exploited. uhhh..nah, sorry, the fact is the lack of knowledge is griefing customers more than exploiters ever could. the fact your ingame help oracle doesn't work; the ingame knowledge base simply brings up the "file petition" process; add that the external website "find answers" categories and search DON'T work; your petition system no longer gives appropriate FAQ links in "finalization" process; The entire customer service infrastructure is so borked i feel for the folks being employed. you've dropped the ball people. ___________________________________________ Ordo Ministorum (backup)
Monty Burns	Posted - 2005.02.11 09:28:00 - [7] Yeah the timer has a random factor to it. I once lost a hauler after 45 mins, petitioned and was told "tough". The timer can actually be anywhere from 15 to 120mins, the higher numbers are rare though. This was all from a helpdesk person <shrug> so I guess it could be BS. Better luck next time ... and check your targets! Darwin 4tw

Why did he target me?If he's in destroyer he should know how to target a roid instead of another player.I got out of the station safely.I waited 30 minutes.

Try using the Help Channels for questions you have... Much of the time many of the people in them can help you with problems you have. Good bunch of people who visit Rookie Help often who know a lot about the game ------- 'I specialise in relieving people from the confinments of their capsules.'

The popup doesn¦t appear when you target something but only when you actually click on a weapon.

A destroyer is chump change. Also, don't refer to it as "Your Oracle" or whatever--this isn't our game, its CCP's. And you have to wait 20 minutes, logged on, in station to be unflagged. -- The best description of alliances, ever:
