I believe what Blue is trying to say is that, any new bid/s should be made in a sequential post. Meaning that you can't hide your higher bid through editing an old post where somebody might not look.

As an example I bid 20b somebody post below me 21b. I go back to page one where I had an old bid of 5b and edit that to 22b. Now the 21b doesn't see I edited my old post only see's my last post on the last page of 20b and thinks his 21b bid will win him the auction.

Hope that clears it up. I think he just wants sequential no edited biding posts. Can have multiple bids just non-edited. Which is why a lot of auctioneers state that no post editing is allowed to prevent little tricks like that.
