I'm a new player and was wondering if anyone knows of a problem with drones in missions? I've gotten 2 missions from agents so far that have had to do with warping to an area and clearing all, or a certain number, of combat drones. The problem is that when I warp there the game lasts only for about 10-30 seconds before crashing and my system reboots. I'm pretty sure I have it pinned to whenever I get within about 10km of one of the drones I'm trying to kill. I did this probably 10ish times on one mission before giving up. only because when I started the game back up I would be warping toward the area with the drones and couldn't get away before my computer crashed. This has only happend with NPC drones during missions. I have had no other technical problems with the game at all. I've tinked around with options ect. with no avail. Please help! I know it may not be a big deal but it is rather annoying and most of all...hurts my feelings. Thanks for any help or advice!
oh...I sent something, petition?, into tech support a couple days ago with no response yet :-)

Unfortunately you're not the only one haveing stability-issues atm. Now since I dont have any problems at all and aint no PC-doctor I can't help directly, but:
Other threads: There are several threads running atm about stability. Read those and answer them if you got a similar problem.
Petition:
- Check the petiton you sent. was it the correct category? if not the GM might ignore it.
- Make sure you also send them all your hardware- and driver-information, even if you think that specific info can't be relevant. If every one who crahes the same way does that, they can more easily find the driver or hardware causing the crashes.
- Start "logserver.exe" and then play til you crash. Send them also that newly created log. It helps the devs find the reason for the crashes. (More Info about logserver)

one of my members was having a similar issue, try turning sound off "ctrl+alt+shift+f12" that seemed to fix it for him. no idea why tho _______________________________________________

Can you give your grafix card type, and which driver you use?? (also your comp specs)
This looks like a grafix prob (you may have too high a resolution set to play the game)
Another tip: Play in Full-screen mode, as it seems to have less problems than windowed mode (no idea why this occurs) Corp Chief Engineer |
