Anchoring a pos in .4.
I'm looking for an update on pos anchoring in lowsec.
Can someone point me to the latest updates on this?
My main question is with npc standings and such and whether or not standings are required anymore.

As far as I know charters are no longer needed, however standings still are.
There isn't a lot of use for a POS in a 0.4 system though. You get all the risks of lowsec with none of the benefits.

Why should he ignore information that is correct?
You can't moon mine in 0.4 You can only do reactions while still at risk for a fleet to OGMWTFPWN your ass. If you are wanting a research POS, 0.4 is useless due to the risks.
While true, you might be there for months before anyone notices, all it takes is one person to nitice and your whole POS is going to go BOOM!

There are only risks in low sec if you are some sort od spastic.

You can't do reactions in 0.4 either.

Yeah reactions only .3 and below I believe. Research tower at most in .4. But at 1 point NPC standing had to be 4.0, at least from forums I'm finding of old.

Depends entirely on what you're planning to do with the towers.. For those of us with supers, .4 systems with POS's can be very useful.

The 0.4 systems I am familiar with are the gateways to lowsec from hisec. That means that they are frequented by griefers as in gate camping pirates and roaming pvp gangs.
If you are going into lowsec, go farther in.
