It's a complete injustic the amount of time neeeded for tech 2/3. If a player pays for a game just like the next person, they should have the ability to fly/equip it also. Not edited stoned.

You might also want to take a closer look at the plethora of new ships, ship classes, skills, industries, missions, equipment, etc. usuable by and often created specifically for newer characters. That there is also cool content created for older characters only makes sense, and you'll appreciate that when you're a bit older. ===== The world will not end in 2012, however there will be a serious nerf to Planetary Interaction.
