Buddy program problem

Kid Ink	Posted - 2011.05.12 21:57:00 - [1] Hello, I referred my buddy to get the 21 day trial, he got the trial, created his account through the email, and activated his account using a CD key from a Reseller. Yet, he's activated his account but I've not gotten my Buddy program reward, a PLEX. The status in the buddy program says he hasn't activated it yet, though I've visually confirmed he has. HELP please?

Your best bet is to submit a Billing & Account petition so the people that actually have the pertinent information and the ability to do something about it can take care of it.

From the Buddy Program Terms and Conditions over at https://secure.eveonline.com/Marketing/Buddy/Default.aspx : "Eligible subscription activations can be funded by Credit/Debit cards, Direct Debit, WebMoney Transfer, paysafecard, ETC, PLEX, iDeal and PayPal. Payments not eligible for this offer: CD Keys, including CD Keys purchased or received from non-CCP sources and online stores such as, but not limited to: Steam Store, Direct2Drive, Gamers Gate, Impulse Driven." But, petition anyway. Maybe somebody will make an exception.

Crimson Stain	Posted - 2011.05.23 16:53:00 - [13] I have twice in the last few weeks received buddy program PLEX from accounts activated by CD key, specifically from the Commissioned Officer edition. If there is a limitation on that I am not aware of it and it has not been applied to me.
