I've just completed my 40th full highsec to losec escalation (I don't know how many hundreds I've run that fizzled). I'm noticing a definite trend in the last leg of the escalation vs the first few. The first few (to four) escalations give a fair chance of something dropping, even if it is crap faction ammo.
The last or lowsec leg of the escalation you chance of getting anything, even faction ammo, is almost nothing.
Out of those 40 I've gotten 1 corpii a-type reactive plating, 1 corpii a-type reflective plating, 1 corpii a-type thermic plating, and one pithi a-type small shield transporter. Statistically even if my very next two end run escalations gave something very nice, it's not been worth it in the hours put in running these things.
Don't get me wrong, I'm doing quite well. But the risk of losec imho is not worth the reward of well, nothing (in my experience). Especially when I see the changes coming to scanning that will make it a no brainer to track down even a t3 ship that has to sit there and spend 30 minutes killing off a huge structure. I'm no longer doing the last leg. Cheers to you that are .
I guess I'll be out there, scanning you down and killing you off. So bear in mind when you're thinking about running these....they are not designed to be profitable...they are designed to get you caught.

OP is badly attempting to squeeze out the frigate a-sized deadspace market without realizing barely anybody in EVE reads the forums and even less of them pay attention to **** like this.

And it is working too. I have decided to spend the rest of my life in high sec.

lol I've done almost all of my exploration in low sec in an ishtar the past year or so.
I only lost one ishtar from getting lazy to travel fit it.
You don't need unprobable ships to do PVE in low.
Most roaming gangs usually don't bother probing for you.
Why would they? so many people jump into gate camps without scouts, why bother trying to probe out people who probably are mashing d-scan and will cloak up the second they see probes?
It is a pain in the ass to d-scan every 10 secs but it can be pretty safe if you know your way around.

This is true. Nobody will actively seek you out unless they have a personal vendetta. I've been doing lowsec exploration as well and even running escalations into nullsec without any trouble. It does help that i'm flying a Pilgrim though which is nearly impossible to lose.

Or they are just bored and think you are crowding up "their" low sec system.

You must have terrible luck.
My last Sansha Watch dropped a Succubus BPC. One of the Highsec sites dropped a True Sansha Web as well. -------------------------------------------------- I am the Love Angel, Wedding Peach, and I am very displeased by your lack of love! |
