Hi,
I was wondering what sort of income I would get if I was just salvaging in 0.0 belts and sites?
I got some buddies that run the sites for the bounties but then leave the wrecks behind, so ideally I need to know what the salvage only would bring and then what the likely additional income would be for the loot.
I appreciate the loot will be random, but assuming there are no 'great' drops, there must be some kind of average?!?!?!

If I had to guess I'd say about 20 mil an hour tops if you were following around a 1000+ dps ship doing anomilies if you sold it outright. Not today spaghetti. |

This is right but.... If you loot as you salvage then your talking more isk per hour, as some guns, plates, etc. go for 2mill+ |

It's not so much following someone around, it's more a case of they run X amount of sites, call me and I come in and..... hopefully.... clear 3/4 sites in one swoop.
Though, I'm used to Wormholes where the loot and salvage takes up minimum space. I've no idea what sort of volumes I'm going to be looking at from Null anoms.

A noctis would be fine fine, I used to salvage and loot anoms a fair bit ago. Just ditch the metal scraps if you cant be bothered to reprocess them and ****. Everytime you dont like my comments/posts the terrorists win and your a disgrace to your country. |

metal scraps had their volume reduced iirc. also, if you can keep salvaging without downtime, your isk/hour could go pretty high (50-100m/hr), as BS rats often have juicy meta4 and high-refining loot. just be ready to haul obscure amounts of loot/minerals into hisec.

I have not spent a lot of time salvaging in null, but I can tell you I have gotten up to 40 mil per site salvaging lvl 4 missions in high sec. the largest missions such as angel extravaganza, or enemies abound take about 15 minutes to loot/salvage with a noctis and can yield easily 30-40 mil.
I would expect null sec sites would be at least equal to that probably more. Rule of thumb is loot/salvage is generally equal to the bounties in value. The higher the bounty of a rat, the higher potential loot/salvage it drops. In my limited experience null sec rats are generally 1-3 mil bounties with the occasional rare spawn going much higher. And you can often get several mil in loot/salvage from a single BS. Meta 4 large guns and rare salvage components worth several mil for example. And then there is the rare spawns that can drop faction modules.
I would say it sounds like a very good opportunity if you don't mind spending you time salvaging. |

My major concern though is storage space.....
I guess with all the named items it's going to take up considerable space

This really depends on which pirate faction space you're going to be salvaging in. Drone space you'll get nothing.
Angel space you can expect to make 90-120 mil/hour. Each Noctis load (assuming 3000m3) will be worth 85-110 mil.
Other factions I can not offer comment. |

Or..find a nullsec alliance and just salv their ratting/sites/plexes. Little bit more dangerous, similar payout, usually someone in the alliance/corp that buys the salvage, or do it in hi-sec, it's up to you. |

Be aware, though, that raw materials including salvage sell for less in null. I think the above posters are assuming you get it back to hisec.
Minerals in my area of null sell for significantly less than Jita. Trit, for example, you could sell for only about 4 when it was selling for about 6 in Jita.
Your pocket of null might be better. |

a avg forsaken hub, yields about 20m isk in total loot/salvage in sansha space.
this number is based on 200 sites so its pretty solid. |
